Kunst kann Unsichtbares und Verborgenes sichtbar machen und ist eine Brücke, um das Gespräch zwischen Menschen zu ermöglichen. Mit unserem Stipendium Dialog durch Kunst bieten wir dir einen Raum, um einen künstlerischen Beitrag zu leisten. 
Wir laden dich ein, durch deine Kunstform (z.B. Malerei, Fotografie, Poesie, Land-Art und vieles mehr) einen Dialog anzustoßen – Gedanken, Fragen und Gespräche, die in den Menschen entstehen, die deinem Werk begegnen. 
 

Wie sieht das Stipendium aus?

  • 5 Tage Zeit für deine künstlerische Arbeit (internationales Stipendium: 12 Tage). Einen Teil der Kunst stellst du – nach Absprache – der Villa Fohrde zur Verfügung.

  • Unterkunft im Tinyhouse und nach Möglichkeit Vollverpflegung (Wert ca. 450 €)

  • Erstattung von Materialkosten bis zu 150 € 

  • Präsentation deiner Kunst in der Villa Fohrde und beim Kulturfestival 2027 (14.-16.05.) 

 

Voraussetzungen 

  • Dein Werk greift eines oder mehrere dieser Themen auf: Nachhaltigkeit, (globale) Gerechtigkeit, Solidarität. 

  • Dein Lebensmittelpunkt liegt im Land Brandenburg oder einem der ostdeutschen Bundesländer oder du hast einen nachvollziehbaren Bezug zur Region (bei Bewerbung für 5-tägiges Stipendium).

  • Wir möchten dich ausdrücklich ermutigen, dich zu bewerben – unabhängig von Herkunft, Alter, sozialer Lage oder beruflichem Hintergrund. Du musst weder fest in der Kunst- und Förderlandschaft verankert sein noch hauptberuflich künstlerisch arbeiten.

 

Internationales Stipendium

Für Mai 2027 vergeben wir ein 12-tägiges Stipendium für Künstler:innen aus Lateinamerika, Afrika oder Asien. Es werden Reisekosten von bis zu 1.500 € übernommen. Kosten für Visum und Auslandskrankenversicherung müssen von der:dem Stipendiat:in selbst getragen werden. 

 

Zusätzliche Voraussetzungen für das internationale Stipendium:

  • Du hast gute Grundkenntnisse in Englisch für die Alltagskommunikation.

  • Bereitschaft für Austausch bei Veranstaltungen während des Stipendienzeitraumes und ggf. Ausstellung deiner Werke im öffentlichen Raum.

  • Unterstützung als Helfer:in beim Kulturfestival der Villa Fohrde (14.-17.05.2027).

DIALOGUE
through
ART

 

Art can reveal the invisible and the hidden, and acts as a bridge to facilitate dialogue between people. Through our ‘Dialogue through Art’ grant, we offer you a space to make an artistic contribution. 
We invite you to use your chosen art form (e.g. painting, photography, poetry, land art and much more) to spark a dialogue – thoughts, questions and conversations that arise in the minds of those who encounter your work. 
 

What does the scholarship involve?

  • 5 days to work on your art (international scholarship: 12 days). You will make some of your artwork available to Villa Fohrde, subject to agreement.

  • Accommodation in a tiny house and, where possible, full board (value approx. €450)

  • Reimbursement of material costs up to €150

  • Presentation of your artwork at Villa Fohrde and at the 2027 Culture Festival (14–16 May) 

 

Requirements

  • Your work addresses one or more of the following themes: sustainability, (global) justice, solidarity. 

  • You are based in the federal state of Brandenburg or one of the eastern German federal states, or you have a demonstrable connection to the region (in case of 5-day scholarship).

  • We would like to expressly encourage you to apply – regardless of your background, age, social circumstances or professional background. You do not need to be firmly established in the arts and funding landscape, nor do you need to be working as an artist full-time.

 

International Scholarship
For May 2027, we are offering a 12-day scholarship for artists from Latin America, Africa or Asia. Travel costs of up to €1,500 will be covered. The scholarship holder must cover the costs of a visa and international health insurance themselves. 


Additional requirements for the international scholarship:

  • You have a good basic knowledge of English for everyday communication.

  • Willingness to take part in exchanges at events during the scholarship period and, where applicable, to exhibit your works in public spaces.

  • Support as a volunteer at the Villa Fohrde cultural festival.
